Fully Assembled Shoot House

At Kontek Industries, building a shoot house is as simple as customizing our design and utilizing the proper components that make the right structure for each customer’s needs. One of the key features of our shoot house is the modularity that provides our customers the option to expand, connect, or separate parts in whatever manner they choose. Our designs are primarily made up of a lightweight grid system with proprietary connection but also weather resistant.

Components of a Shoot House

Kontek’s Mobile Modular Shoot House (MMSH) comes in 4 main components:

  • 4’ X 7’ Modular PVC Panels
  • Vertical Upright – approximately 7’
  • Universal Quad Connector – approximately 6” x 6”
  • Horizontal Stabilizer Bar – approximately 3’

Modular Shoot House Components

The 4’ X 7’ modular PVC panels are designed and produced in-house with our router table. These panels can be made to form the walls, doors, or windows of the shoot house. The vertical upright, horizontal stabilizer bar, and universal quad connector are each made of aluminum and designed by our engineers.

The vertical upright is designed to be mounted into the universal quad connector and tightened with a hand nut. The horizontal stabilizer bar is designed to connect to each quad connector after the vertical upright is mounted. The modular panels are made to fit between the vertical upright and are connected on each side with 14-inch zip ties.

Sizes and Floor Plans

The 3 shoot house sizes we provide are as follows:

  • SIERRA – typically 450 square ft.
  • MIKE – typically 1,000 square ft.
  • LIMA – typically 2,000 square ft.

The Mobile Modular Shoot House can be configured to present as either an indoor structure that integrates into a building or an outdoor structure that stands alone. It can also be designed or revised to be a permanent, semi-permanent, or temporary structure. Floor plans can resemble specific rooms and hallways of buildings. The panels used for hallways and doors can be interchangeable to provide trainees with different scenarios. With our shoot house, you can also engage targets from different angles using multiple entry and exit points.

Shoot House Set Up

Before setting up your shoot house, you should sketch a layout of your shoot house and assess how many walls, windows, and doors you have. Then, you can complete the following steps.

Step 1)

Grab your vertical upright and mount it to the universal quad connector.
